How time flies! The Wheel of Time season 2 is already winding down, with just one episode to go in this latest chapter for Moiraine, Rand, Mat and the rest of our heroes.

The good news is that this isn't a permanent goodbye. A third season of The Wheel of Time is already in the works, with some filming reported to have taken place prior to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strike action.

Hopefully, that means the show can really hit the ground running once the studios and the guilds are on speaking terms again, which some pundits speculate could be very soon indeed.

Of course, the cast have kept quiet about what exactly the third season could involve, although co-star Daniel Henney did tease one thing he hopes to see included (via Winter is Coming).

"I’ve got a modified version of Cat Crosses the Courtyard that I’m trying to work on, I’m trying to get put into season 3 if I can," Henney told the publication before the strikes.

"But it’s like… the classic version doesn’t really fit in the scene we’re trying to do, so we’re trying to modify it. So, you might get to see that. And the Kata is modified as well."

For now, all eyes are on episode 8 – the season finale – and what serious ramifications it could have. Read on for everything you need to know about the release schedule for The Wheel of Time season 2 on Prime Video.
